Jonathan Patten is a 24 year old graphic designer based out of Philadelphia in the United States. He is a graduate of the Digital Arts program at La Salle University, where he also simultaneously ran a freelance design firm on the side.
In the professional sports world, Jonathan has designed liveries for some of NASCAR's biggest teams. He maintains positive relationships with each of his former clients and applies his professional persona to meet his clientele's needs.
Studied subjects such as typography, web development & 3D animation. Worked through many long nights and drank way too many energy drinks in order to get the work done.
I built and manage the website for the 305 Sports Talk Radio network, which airs Saturdays on 880 The Biz, Miami.
My responsibilities mainly consisted of creating creative assets to help the marketing folks with their pitches and proposals for professional clients. I did not write any of the marketing materials, however, as I was provided with this content and given the creative freedom to apply the content as I saw fit given the scope and intent of the project at hand. Given that I worked at a distance, I mainly communicated via e-mail and phone calls. This was very beneficial to me as it helped me to improve my communication skills.
I primarily handled creating and modifying print documents in Adobe InDesign to make them more streamlined and design-savvy.
Since late 2010 I have worked with professional athlete Brian Vickers on a gig-work basis. I have primarily worked on projects for with industry-renowned marketing director Don Rohr.
2010 - 2014
I worked with industry renowned designer Brit Fryer and during my stint I worked with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team Earnhardt Ganassi Racing. I am very proud of the projects which I helped to bring to the stage, which included livery wraps for McDonald's, Target & Axe Apollo. Due to the confidentiality of these projects, I am unable to show any of my non-published work.
Worked behind the scenes with creating the wrap for the NASCAR and Google led-project for April Fools' Day, 2012. I worked with designers from Google to help come up with the final product that was used on the car.
